The company was established some 35 years ago as a manufacturing company producing electronic temperature controls for OEM companies and systems. In 1988 the company first ventured into the manufacture of Airflow monitors and controls for Biological Safety Cabinets and Fume Cupboards. With the increased awareness of Health and Safety requirements for laboratories over the past decade and the subsequent Legislation the worldwide market for Airflow monitors has steadily increased and now accounts for all of our production.
By working with Laboratory Companies and Fume Cupboard manufacturers we have developed alarm and control systems specifically designed to meet the requirements for the end users and the manufacturers and we are now the leading manufacturer in the UK with in excess of 75,000 Airflow Monitors and controls operating in laboratories on a worldwide basis.
We have a medium sized production facility based near Manchester in the UK employing 10 - 15 staff and have accessed additional production capacity for the microprocessor based AFA1000 series units employing automated production machines using surface mounted technology. This will increase our production capacity to 1000 units per month to meet the ever growing demand for our products.
